In South Africa, gas installations must be done by a registered installer and signed off with a Certificate of Conformity (CoC). You’ll usually need one when a new installation goes in, when an existing one is changed, and when a property with gas is sold.

Common questions
Do I need a gas CoC to sell my house?
If the property has a gas installation, you'll usually need a valid gas Certificate of Conformity for transfer, along with the electrical CoC.
Can you convert my electric stove or geyser to gas?
Yes. We regularly convert kitchens and hot-water systems to gas and quote for the complete job, including the CoC.
Will a gas geyser work during a power outage?
Yes. Most gas geysers use battery or water-flow ignition, so you keep hot water when the power is off.
I can smell gas. What should I do?
Close the valve at the cylinder, don't use switches or open flames, open doors and windows, leave the area and call us on 065 948 4424.
