Many new hobs are built for either natural gas or LPG. We check that your appliance is set up for LPG (and fit the correct jets if it isn't) before connecting it.

- Site visit and quote We confirm cylinder placement, gas route and appliance setup, then send a clear quote.
- Installation We install everything to SANS 10087 and the manufacturer’s requirements.
- Test, certify and hand over Full leak and pressure test, Certificate of Conformity, and a walk-through of how it works.
What affects the price?
Every installation is different, so we quote after seeing the job. These are the main things that affect the cost:

| Cylinder location | How far the cylinders are from the kitchen. |
| Countertop work | Whether a new cut-out is needed for a built-in hob. |
Safety first: gas work must be done by a registered installer. DIY or unregistered installations can’t be certified and may affect your insurance.
Frequently asked questions
Can you convert my electric stove to gas?
Yes. We can replace an electric stove with a gas or gas/electric model and run the gas line to it. An electrician may be needed to make the old circuit safe.
Can I have a gas cylinder inside my kitchen?
Large cylinders must go outside. Small indoor cylinders are only allowed under strict conditions, so we almost always recommend an outdoor installation piped in.
Do you supply the hob?
We can supply one or install an appliance you've already bought.
