Overview
A gas Certificate of Conformity confirms that an LPG installation was inspected and complies with the relevant safety standard (SANS 10087). It can only be issued by an installer registered with SAQCC Gas for that type of work.
You'll usually need one when a new installation goes in, when an existing installation is changed, and when a property with gas is sold. Insurers may also ask for one before paying a claim involving a gas appliance.

How long is a gas CoC valid?
A CoC relates to the installation as it was when inspected. If anything is changed or added, a new CoC is needed. For a property sale, buyers and conveyancers often want a recent one.
What if my installation fails?

Do I need a gas CoC and an electrical CoC?
